It's October, which means #inktober - I got so inspired by the influx of Inktober submissions that I couldn't resist adding number one of a mythological beast list, which was created by, @thornwolfart
This creature is Akhnut - it's an Inuit mythological beast in form of an orca. However when it reaches land, it transforms into a wolf like creature. I wanted to create a transition between both forms and put emphasis on its transformation. His body also has ancient Inuit drawing patterns.
Done with fineliner, Karismacolor and Mepxy markers.
I don't think I can follow the challenge as I have to focus on Haunter of Dreams. But this was a nice, quick break.

I'm actually toying with myself to get up two to three hours earlier to follow the Inktober challenge in the morning and then return to my comic project right after. Still figuring out for myself whether or not this would be insane or benefitting. it's definitely so much fun that I may be able to add a couple extra later.
