Sketchbending, that's it! XDSome doodles I did in the past three days to practice a bit with Aang and Katara's designs and which I eventually decided to refine and upload here (I wanted to hear your opinions!) ...Nothing special
A bunch of Aangs and Kataras, that's all
By the way, why did Older!Aang come out so beefy? O_o
I definitely am in an Avatar mood, and since I have some projects in mind I'd better learn how to draw the main characters, at least! xD Man, bald people are HARD. But I have to say, I had fun while doing this!
Especially with poses - I used no references and I can totally feel I'm slowly improving *__*Please, um... ignore anatomy mistakes, ok? xD That was just for practice, after all! *hides*

Sure, "Aang and Katara collection" also means "Aang and Katara". I guess I'm being original since Zutara definitely pwns the Internet!
I have nothing against the other ships but I prefer the canon couple, I think it's very sweet
So please... avoid trolling over my shipping preferences because I honestly don't care if you don't like Kataang We all are different, aren't we?Oh, before you ask... YES, I know about "Legend of Korra" and NO, I haven't seen the movie but I know it's not worth it

Certainly miss it, Avatar should totally carry one, both Book of Aang and Book of Korra were simply too good... I dare say better than 95% of animes in all o Japan and 99% of all western cartoons.

It was also one of my favorite moments of the entire show. I knew at that point they would end up together. Such a powerful moment.

Same. It's a true testament to how much Katara loved Aang considering every time he was in the Avatar State, she never left his side. She always was there to bring him back.

Aang and Katara had such so many cute moments together that the very idea of people taking offense to them getting together in the end is just INSANE! I agree that shipping wars are pointless, especially when it stops being good fun, and it becomes flat-out delusional madness. But I won't go on a rant here. Instead, I'll just say that as fans, we should SHIP RESPONSIBLY!!
And like to say how much I LOVE that you included an image of Katara calming Aang down from his Avatar State freakout! These moments have always been among my absolute favorites in the entire Avatar franchise! Why? Two reasons...
1) No matter how powerful and terrifying Aang could be as the Avatar, Katara only saw him as Aang and nothing more.
2) As sad as Katara felt seeing Aang driven to such anguish, she always held back her tears because she knew her pain was nothing compared to what he was going through.
Man... I really need to marathon that series again, someday soon....

My only problem with this pairing is Aang's age, if he was 13 it wouldn't bother me. Great picture by the way.

It doesn't really matter the age, Aang anyways was going to grow and there wouldn't be any difference between him and Katara (I once was with a 14 yearold girl and I was 12, Ironic 
Also, as the show took almost a year, and several month between Ozai's defeat and the celebration at Iroh's tea shop in Ba Sing Se, it's really safe to say Aang was 13 when he and Katara started their relationship.

well aang isn't technically 12. Chronologically speaking he is 112. Besides it is only a 2 year difference between katara and aang... it isn't that uncommon for there to be that age gap
