I'm simply in love with their oriental style and at the same time futuristic outfits ^-^ It's a very beautiful idea! The picture also makes me think of a time and space where boy/boy romance is nothing to be scared of and so they can be so sweet and enjoy it ^^ As you have said, the perspective here indeed doesn't spoil the picture but its "robotic vision" indeed adds a lot to the scene and it's nice to see in this particular scene ^_^

^-^ Thank you so much ! I'm really happy you enjoy this artwork even though it is an old drawing with lots of brushes. ^.^ It makes me glad you liked the idea.
I appreciated a lot to read your comment ! :3

OMG, planets and stars and nebulae and...low-cut pants, oh my! XD (that was supposed to be a parody of the "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!" line.)

I had quite the same issue with words but got solved (or quite)with roots.. I think they're different depending on context but never the same thing..
Anthropomorfic means something has human-like features... It doesn't have to be an animal only but a thing.. for example, dummies are anthropomorfic but not furry since furry implies, well fur XD
So I'd go with that way of solving matters, does it helps?
Also, I think your characters (at least this ones) aren't either furry or anthro since well, they do have fur, but only head/catears topping and tails. Furry characters as I've seen and been told, are animals who can stand erect as we humans do, also has human skills such as language using words and intelligence (yeah, don't get me wrong, Human intelligence as is called)
And they can't be anthro for more or less the same reason... But I guess you can always say "They are cats and became human-like" and that counts in as anthro But I'd call'em Kemonomimi.. A friend of mine told me this kind of characters are called that way because they're humans with tails and animal ears..

Aaah! Thank you so much for this comment! It helps me a lot! So my characters are kemonomimi.
I was really lost, I really didn't know how I have to call them. They were not humans, they were not furry, they were not anthro... So what are they?? Kemonomimi! Thank you!! TT___TT You saved me!
And my others characters like my Phoenix [link] or my cecaelia [link] can be called anthro?

My pleasure being helpful <3
And for your characters... I don't think so, I mean if you re-read what I wrote you earlier, you can tell anthros are animal standing on two of their four paws, so I'd still go for kemonomimi... Look at ~Edheloth 's, this artist's full anthro, may help a bit =3
