I love looking back at this picture. I've actually formed an AU for the new leaf villagers. I called the villager in the picture Rose and the boy Villager Ethan.
I've also made them have this relationship where Rose would chase Ethan around to hug him and stuff.

AU is an alternate universe so it doesn't have to be same as the canon stuff. Basically none of the villagers have names right? Everyone has a different view on them so in my AU I pictured Rose to be hard working and Ethan to be lazy. In a different AU made by someone else, their names and personalities can be TOTALLY different!Β

I think it's because he has an axe he uses to chop down trees and how villager is constantly happy no matter what happens. I personally just think he's an innocent kid enjoying his life and you're welcome!
