Another drawing of Haji and Saya from Blood +. This was my first attempt of them [link] . Idk...does this one look better then the other? Haji is so hard to draw; it's not even funny. His damn sexy wavy hair is a pain. Saya's fairly easy to draw though. Anyways, the title is based off of Saya and Haji's relationship in the anime. Basically, Saya is a monster that's similar to a vampire (better known as Chiropteran in the series. She's actually one of the Queens of the species) and Haji is her chevalie; meaning he's her protector and servant. In exchange for giving him her blood a century ago so he wouldn't die; Haji serves Saya and fights for her (a century ago, he fell off a cliff and nearly died. So, like how a philosopher's stone is from FMAB; Saya made Haji drink some of her blood and it kept him from dying and also made him immortal). These two are always together in the series. Even when Saya goes into hibernation for 30 years at a time (she sleeps 30 years, wakes up for 3, then repeats. It's happen for a century now), Haji still always waits for her. After all, they're both immortal. The only way Saya could die is if she got touched with her twins sister's blood (ironic how the twin girls' blood are poison to the other) but that's another part of the series. Anyways, because Saya is the "Queen of Chiropterans" and Haji is her chevalie; they're always going to be together but they might never be able to be truly "happy" together. Saya is basically damned with the immortal life she has and as such, she will continue to suffer in her existence just as Haji will. Watch the anime if you wanna know more about this couple. The series is pretty damn epic, yet also depressing.

There aren't enough lovey-dovey scenes in the anime of these two so I drew them kissing as best I could. Haji looks bad.
