I can wait for Goku to become a master himself. Him (reduced to a Naruto/Gon-expy) training under Whis with Vegeta like a little kid is too much, especially in Revival of Frieza.
Also you forgot Grand Kai. SSJ3 didn't come from out of nowhere.

Actually that whole thing with Grand Kai isnβt canon, and even in it Goku never got to train under Grand Kai (Grand Kai made an excuse not to train him)Β
Goku learn SSJ3 after training on his own, itβs not a technique itβs a stronger version of his already existing Super Saiyan Form, so it makes sense he learned how to push it further after 7 Years of training with King Kai

Anime, yes.
They were never shown in the manga. So, when DB Online was being made, they didn't have anything to use, as they couldn't use stuff made for the anime. In DBO, they look like that. Not sure if Toriyama designed them or not. I do know he worked on designing stuff in DBO a lot, I believe working on it several years, but I'm unsure if he designed the Yardrats
