she turned the corner, tryuing to go quickly so he wouldnnt see her turn and carry on running. It didnt work. he turned the corner after her and pushed her against the wall. she could smell the wine she had spilt on him, which had started the chase, and feel the burning cigarette in his mouth as he came closer and closer to her.
he started to whisper in her ear, "So you think you are going to get away with that do you, you were going to leave me were you? well ill show you, you hoar." she didnt know what was going on, but she suspected he had been round at Joey's again, he always came back from Joey's wasted.  He held her just under the jaw,, and pushed her against the wall, so she couldnt move. He started to lift his arm, so she ended up on tip toes, trying to breathe but failing, suffocating in his hands. she knew it would be worse if she tried to resist, much much worse.
she forced herself to go limp, knowing if she did he wouldnt find it as fun and so would leave her, thinking she was unconscious
"you're nt going to get me that way today you little bitch, i know you are making yourself go  like that, your pulse is going too quickly, i want you to suffer, like you made me suffer."
This was new, she didnt know what was going on, this never happened before, this time his hand got tighter round her throat, he was trying to kill her, he'd never tried that before. she tried to kick but he had a leg against her legs, so she couldnt move st all
"feisty little cow arent you? well you know what happens to cows dont you? they get sent to the abatoir"
she opened her eyes just long enough to see a knife. he left it just long enough for her to start to screm before plunging it into her, with such large force, it stuck her to the wall behind her, but she  no longer knew this, for she was now truly unconcious.
