whoah...the colors on this one are just seriously lovely!
and this picture has a lot of emotion and detail and it's just so full of perfection.
even if the scanner killed it. >c<
it's kind of sad in its own way, she's holding that ribbon like she just lost someone or something.
or maybe she's in deep thought.....
this picture looks like it could seriously be on a binder or soemthing.
it's a fantastic illustration, and shows what can be done with the hand, not digital.
anyways, this gets a 
(btw, what did you use to scan? the windows scanner wizard thingie lets you set brightness and contrast, and other programs like HP and stuff come with options like that too)

This is lovely!! I love how it turned out (even with your scanner "killing it," as you say), mostly because you didn't outline it. It looks so soft and peaceful.

This is really pretty! I love the soft colors you used. I know I'm no human artist, but the ear is a bit small. I remember my art teacher teaching us about proportions and she said the human ear is the same length as the distance from your eyebrows to your mouth. But still, she's really pretty and you did great
