Description
I was driving home today and I saw this abandoned mailbox on a semi-deserted road.[notes: levels, color balance, and border]

I cant decide on teh composition, i feel like i'd like for the mailbox to be pointed the other way (or have more space and more of the road.) but then i think again and say, screw that I like it this way : )

i know the composition is unusual. i ultimately decided it actually decided in this case the composition is strong, but that is my opinion. I have several other shots w/ different compositions, but none caught my eye as this did.

find as in the subject or the composition? the subject really isnt lucky considering i live in the middle of nowhere! the trick is teaching your eye to see this trashy stuff (i.e. crappy mailbox) as artistic! as far as the composition i'll go with 40% skill 60% luck lol.

No, I wish I could say I did. Although, when I went into photoshop I knew I wanted to enhance the warmer tones. Then I desaturated it to give it an older feeling.
