Everyone should have a friend like Bevis!
First page of the double update. A lot of dialogue in this one. If it's confusing, let me know! Thank you very much for reading!
Just a little note, what Bevis means in that first panel is that usually a knight wouldn't be required to saddle his own horse, this would be a job done by squires/seargants.

Ah, that would have been interesting if someone made an attempt on his life after the change! By then I was sort of in a rush to finish this story (it was supposed to be a small thing) so I didn't have much space to explore how the other brothers now feel about Seb, but I did try to hint that apart from Bevis and Robert, no one else wants to talk to him.

Ok no I'm out. This isn't cool. You've created such a heartfelt moment of true friendship - how Sebastian looks so happy, hopeful and surprised to see Bevis; how Bevis is all chill and brotherly; and Robert just knowing everything and adding a bit of humour - so much personality and genuine emotion in this. I just can't deal.
I can really feel it with Sebastian how sad it must be to be leaving as well as the comfort these two give him after a trying few weeks. I think this page is a masterpiece. I love it
(Though I do have one critique point - they say "Ugh" a lot. Kinda feels like teenage girls talking lol. I think it's just cos it's said twice in one page by both Sebastian and Bevis. Wouldn't be a problem if only one person said it.)

Bevis is a great friend. Seb never forgets that even though it's a long time after they meet again. And what Bevis says here really helps Seb get over his brooding much better than anything that Guillaume or Conain said. I'd say it's this talk that lets him to get over stuff and accept his new situation.

Aw, that's so sweet and I can totally feel it. Bevis makes it feel like everything is ok, and he's still gonna be your friend and accept you. Both Guillaume and Conain were very businesslike though they tried to be sympathetic.

Wow those eyes! It's great to see Bevis again. Must be sad to leave this place and his friend behind, but I'm sure it's for the best. Besides, can't wait to meet his new crew

I was so happy with the eyes, my aim was to make the glow unnatural, but overly conspicously so....
I’ve got to say, I’ll miss Bevis, but, as your u say, at least the new/old crew finally appears.

Bevis! Sebastian looks so happy to see them both, and I love how you made his otherworldly features show in that panel!
It's no wonder he feels bad for what happened, but I'm glad Bevis shushes him so quickly. He's the best of friends, and I hope one day he'll return to the story, for a sparring match or other shenanigans

Thank so much for checking this out! I'm glad you noticed the glowy eyes, as you say I wanted to make him seem a little more otherworldy in that one panel. Bevis doesn't like waddling in guilt, and it annoys him when other people do it. And Sebastian is prone to that I think, so Bevis definitely felt he should shut that down quickly. Plus, I think he blames Conain and Guillaume more than Seb, after all, they were the commanders, theirs is the responsibility.

I do like how you handled that much speech and managed to make it flow really well with the different coloured speech bubbles intersecting,
(lol and really there was no need to tell him that the others didn't want to see him - was it a joke, was it true, we shall never know (but Robert will of course, because he knows everything))
Everyone SHOULD have a Bevis, where can one find a clone?

I know, I'm so sad now! I'm going to miss him too. Heh, well Robert's a gossip, he talks to people and knows how to get them to talk too. I have an aunt like that, she always knows everything!! 
Haha, we'll never know if Robert was oblivious to how unpleasant that comment was or whether it was kind of on purpose. lol.
I'd like a Bevis too...sadly they are a rare species and difficult to find...

Lol Robert has a real gift there, it's not easy being so...persuasive (without even trying) - lol I'm usually the one who is last to know everything...
And thus, the air of mystery around him thickens.
There is only one isn't there, a rare and beautiful specimen that must be preserved for the moment cloning advances enough to be morally acceptable and not just weird.

Ah, here we are. The dialogue balloons had me going for a moment, but it was a great idea to colour code them. I can't get over how well you portray the camaraderie between the knights- reminds me of the army veterans I've met ( that's a great many, you know, starting with WW2) My favorite panel, however, is the first one- really captures the feeling of preparing for a night journey in the silence of the stables, with the horses moving restlessly, blowing and stamping as the tack is put on, and the night sounds drifting in through the window...

I'm glad the camaraderie thing shows, that's sort of what I was going for except this lot are all pretty young and not veterans yet...
Ah, the way you describe it, that's exactly what I was seeing/hearing when I was drawing the first panel, but I wasn't sure if I would manage to show it.

It is a huge relief for him! He was afraid Bevis would hate him now, or wouldn't want to have anything to do with him, or would blame him for what happened. Bevis is a cool guy though, he's not one to overreact and get terribly emotional. Plus he thinks it's Conain and Guillaume who are really to blame as commanders...

Hmm...good question! I think he is a bit more skeptical of their competence as leaders...But then, Bevis isn't overly judgmental and certainly doesn't think he himself would have done a better job...He's a pretty mild guy overall.

Aw. Bevis is a cool guy
It's nice to know that he and Robert are unfazed by Sebastian's transformation (though some of his other fellows are clearly more disturbed by it).
Seb's glowing eyes in the second panel are really cool! At least that's one neat perk of vampirism X'D And the horses are looking good too (even if they are something of a torment to draw X'D).
I'm curious...since this story continues long after this comic is slated to end, are you planning to carry on with the tale in some other format (in text form perhaps)?
I'd certainly love to know what happens next, and what life is like with the Night Brothers

I'm glad you like Bevis, I'm fond of him and very sad this is the end of his role in the story...I'm really glad the fact that they aren't so concerned with him becoming a vampire isn't too weird...My idea was that Bevis is a cool one and he doesn't tend to panic/get overly emotional about anything, plus he really was good friends with Sebastian, and Robert, well he believes so much weird stuff anyway, that he's actually not that scared/disturbed by a friend becoming a vampire, just happy he was right!...But yeah the other knights certainly find it disturbing.
Hah yeah, who wouldn't want to be able to make their eyes glow this way?
Regarding the further story: I definitely want to write it one way or another but I'm not sure how to approach it...I was thinking of drawing it in comic form and seeing how far I get. It's an insane idea, given how long the story is, but I'm sort of tempted. Alternatively I was thinking of writing it in novel form - I have some random bits and pieces written down (a big battle, Sebastian's captivity at the hands of a scheming mage) but it's been daunting actually sitting down and starting from the beginning. Which would you find more interesting?

Ah yeah true, Bevis is one true good friend (does he know, tho?). Glad to see him again very okay and well. Farewell, will they meet again? While Robert is giving some "useful" information LOL, thanks for telling me that Robert. Loving the casual interaction between them.
Also in the second panel Sebastian eyes looks somewhat glowy? Or it is just me

Thank you for the comment! Yes Bevis knows. I didn't add that to the comic, but Guillaume actually explained to the knights what happened that night. That's why most of them didn't want to go talk to Sebastian now, they're still a bit wary.
Yup, his eyes were supposed to glow a bit in that panel. Because his powers are starting to manifest and he can see much better in the dark now.
