Hmm I love gurren lagann and FLCL.. I like Gainax's new series too, Panty and Stocking. It's got a lot of weird and perverted humor but if you wind up liking the characters/style/animation and don't take it too seriously it's a fun watch! Dead leaves was another fun watch (it's sort of a short movie, but it has the best action animation ever). I don't get to see a lot of anime because I have dial up, but I love most of what I've seen from Gainax. Evangelion is on my list next.
