Description
The mentor apprentice duo went for an early morning lesson and by the time they were heading back snow had begun to fall and dust the ground.

*Spottedpaw was extra careful about how she stepped and where she kept her tail. Practicing the stealthy movements she had only just been taught along with the proper hunting techniques. As they weaved their way through the trees Batcry steadily pulled ahead of her, concentration slowing her down. As she finally looks up to see Batcry a couple tail lengths ahead she also notices a squirrel making its way down a tree. She stopped short covered by two trees one on each side watching the squirrel quietly. Her body slowly moving to a hunters crouch waiting patiently for the squirrels paws to touch the ground. Finally it happens in what seems like a moon but was probably only a few seconds the squirrel made it down and began gnawing on an acorn. Spottedpaw didn't miss her chance pouncing on the small critter and with a clean bite to the neck she had caught her first prey. Grabbing it in her maw she raced to catch up with Batcry whom had made it quite far ahead without her.*
