Description
Finally finished my school project
This is presented in real-time in engine, as i thought it is more impressive then just a render.
But i had fun with this one and a few problems along the way.
Mainly took inspiration from Aion,Tera (high elfs <3),DMC and FF.
The character is about 21k Tris and uses 2x 2048 texture maps.
I rendered it in marmoset Toolbag, love that program.

And yea it was, it was meant to be a boss character, but he looks a little more like a protagonist
I didn't have much time to do it, and made it in about 4 days lol, because of those damn other modules ><
I didn't see any in the octagon building and i didn't want to leave my stand, incase ppl would come over

I didn't dare leave my stand either, other than to get lunch and then I came straight back. You got that mention in the ceremony so you must have caught their eye anyway. Well done! It was good to get some exposure to the industry professionals

Yea i was surprised by that, because i was not gonna go to Gradex and i hadn't set up the previous day for it ><

if you don't mind me asking, did you bake the hair onto the diffuse, or did you hand paint it? I've been trying to develop some good techniques for hair, and I really like how the hair on your character turned out.

Hey,
I painted it in Zbrush,and then fix it up in photoshop once i got the bake from the high poly.
I then added a few hair plane geometry to get some strands of hair.
