Description
As part of the OCE art contest I created this. This being the second digital piece I've made, This was also the first time I've drawn trees and rock, especially in the environment. So there was a lot of learning done, Wasn't expecting much, however I did end up placing in the top 50! Which was a pleasant surprise, as I really had no expectations for this piece. It was simply done to improve my abilities.The basis of this piece was to follow the prompt, which was to have it in ionia, however I decided to take things from the Ahri's lore, and depict the Morning hunts she went on with a pack of snow foxes that she befriended, after being abandoned.
I haven't made many pieces, to actually submit here unfortunately, I've mainly been doing small studies, I could submit those here, though they're not particularly interesting.

I've never spoken to anyone from Australia before, so I guess now is a good opportunity to ask this, what's the artistic/geek community like over there? Is strong and prevelant like in America, Canada, and the U.K., or is it a lot smaller nd spread out, I'd like to know if you don't mind.

it's all good, if you've got more questions I'm happy to try and answer them for you. With your question I suppose it depends on what you consider prevalent verses spread out, and what those communities have to be considered "prevalent" -
I personally wouldn't say that the geek/artistic communities are small over here, and have a good base, we have a lot of conventions each year, which are always a blast to go to
however, compared to bigger countries like America, ours is naturally going to be smaller due to just population. All in all it's pretty good over here, but I say that without experiencing it in other counties.

I wish I could draw scenery like that, you can always appreciate when you look at a still image, and really feel the atmosphere of the picture, it feels cold yet adventurous.

I'm glad that I captured the feelings that I wanted to with this piece. Hopefully in the future I can capture them better within my pieces.
