Description (EDIT: Added border.)

Weeee, another chibi! This time, Suu from CLAMP's Clover!

Read the series recently, and although I wasn't really fond of and didn't really quite get the story, the art was AMAZING and VERY INSPIRATIONAL. Especially the paneling style, which I may make use of.

I just HAD to draw Suu. What with the mechanical wings and mechanical...everything! about their world, it was just awesome. >w< This outfit is a combination of several outfits shown in various artbook pictures. I definitely wanted to include the green clover-ness and the mechanical but very wavy aspects of the clothing. So pretty! >w< (It's kind of steampunk-ish, actually. )

There IS a little bit of gold highlighting on the clovers, but of course you can't see it with the scanned version.

Another example of the detail I can get with chibis. ^_^

It's definitely a very "mechanical pretty things" series. And I mean that in more than just a literal sense.

This looks so spiffy! Her hair and wings especially stand out as cool, since bright white isn't easy to convey in any medium without it getting too gray, which was definitely avoided in this case.

Thanks! Good to know that I succeeded in this portrayal.
