i've always wanted to photograph a horse...you caught this beautifully, i love the colors and the atmosphere and the message it sends...when i look at it i dont think of the horse as a horse almost..its more like a being that has a story to tell and by you following it it was like you had two days in the life of it...thats really cool, this is an awesome picture and you have an amazing gallery

Wild.....I'm going to have to look at this whole series... the context is just too intriguing.....
It also seems to call out a darker Andrew Wyeth painting to me...

I love it when people leave me a comment and mention another artist whose work may relate to mine and visca versa. It really helps me inform myself with my work. Thanks, I will check Mr. Wyeth out now....

Always with his... well looks like a mare, so her... back to you. Sadly, as if waiting for its last day. Hmmmm..... Empty home means the forgotten past life the horse may have had, and is looking for the return of the memories. Wow, I have only seen one other horse that was that far from its last good meal, and it was alway white and resembled that one very much. *sigh* Beautiful shot, this one.... but sadly I can't bring myself to want the lonesome figure and it's powerful message of age, loss, and forbidden dreams.
