My re-imagining of the second Season of digimon.

Though these designs could also double as full blown redesigns of the existing team, minus the angels.

In my alternate 02 timeline, the original children return to the digital world as teenagers.

While Taichi is all cool with being a hero again, Yamato hates the idea, as they are nearly young adults with real world responsibilities, Taichi on the other hand sees saving the digital world as a greater good-- this creates conflict between the characters.

Armor levels play a big role in it, I've drawn everyone's armor levels in past deviations, but I might go back and redraw them.

The cast of 02 would be part of my alternate02, but as side characters. Yamato would constantly pressure taichi to return to the real world and leave saving the digital world to the new children-- something Taichi would have a lot of trouble with.

These evos are actually technically 'ultimate/perfect' levels. They'd be evolved from the team's Digimon's armor forms.

CeltIkakkumon, ExKabuterimon, GaiaGreymon, WildGarurumon. KenkaTogemon and above them is AeroBirdramon.

Think of them as re-imaginings of their existing adult levels.

As for the 'angels', they play a very different role in this 02-- they're badguys. Tekeru and Hikari are both possessed by a mysterious force, that evolves Patamon and Tailmon into Saraphimon and Ophanimon respectively. Their true final forms would be inline with pre-anime-movie canon. Of course, at some point they'd go back to being good guys and join the new team of children as side characters and achieve their true final forms, Godramon and Mangadramon. Sorry, I don't like Ophanimon being Gatomon's final form *Sunglasses* Deal with it.

I can feel the hate coming off some people for that last paragraph, but the angels have had their day in the sun, they are dues ex machina characters and they lived glory in more than one season, so please understand why I'd down play them or even make them evil. There is some creativity in the way I think, give it a chance.
