“Come to your senses Tommy, this isn't you!”

Jason's voice strained, gagged by the heel of Tommy's boot as he loomed over the fallen warrior.

“I am not Tommy. Tommy is the name of the frail human that hosts my form” he grinds his boot into Jason's throat. “and you, you are not human either, no no no, you are still the same Geki I once admired” his helmet clad head tilted as he leaned in on his own knee. “At one time Geki, you and I were equals-- but in this era I am as mighty as a god while you are still a lowly soldier grasping for any shred of glory” the ageless, inhuman voice spoke volumes.

Jason's armor clad, clawed fingers dug into the ankle of Tommy's boot, his own voice arching into an ageless undertone. “I am Geki, of the Tyranno beast tribe, but I am also Jason Lee Scott...” the grip tightened and raised the boot slowly from his throat. “We fight as one, one soul, one being. My era might be over Burai, but so is yours-- I fight with every fiber of my soul just as these 'frail' humans do. Unlike you, I embrace this vessel and fight with it, instead of striving to control and own it as you do.”

With that he threw the green and gold warrior away from his form. Tommy's thralled body landed unharmed, on his feet and still with as much swagger. “How quaint, you still preach mindless drivel of unity. While my body lay rotting on the battle field, you and your ilk chose to have your souls driven into coins for these petty humans to manipulate as they see fit. I never chose for my spirit to be trapped in cold steel for eons. This is simply my retribution” Tommy, with Burai's voice graveled out a promise “And with this, I will be given the king's praise I was denied in life, even if I have to extract it from the fear riddled hearts of these humans you so adore”

And with that deceleration, the warriors' battle renewed.

(Notes, this is part of my power rangers reboot idea-- in which it combines the two storylines of ZyuRanger and Mighty Morphin into one unified universe and fixes a lot of plot holes and creates a very deep, rich back story that is almost as interesting, if not more so than the battle the rangers will be waging against Rita's evil forces. Here is an exert in which Tommy and Jason are doing battle. You can gather bits of info and general plot points from Tommy's monologue.)
