Description I wanted to get around to drawing something for Miriel and Yrdina's wedding this month, but I wasn't able to. Have some new dress designs though! Wanted to put both of them in white after all.

Is this foreshadowing something?

 I wouldn't call it foreshadowing.

This is beautiful beyond words. Yrdina and Miriel look as perfect as they should for their wedding. Really love the designs for both; emphasizing their beauty aside, both dresses have a hint of culture to them. Love the purple garment Yrdina's wearing to go with her dress, and Miriel's being sleeveless suits her. The coloring is just magnificent; really brings out the best of both designs. Overall, a perfect couple and the dress redesigns are excellent. Can't wait for the wedding day!

Wonderful design. Pink and purple elements stand out well and add originality to classic white dresses, plus, these are definitely Yrdinas colors. I love this belt under the breasts of Miriel, but aren't her colors red and blue? It seems to me that their dresses would be in better harmony if the Yrdinas dress had pink elements (or even purple for contrast), as you painted, and the Miriels dress had light blue. Also, why are the dresses for both? Does it mean something? I ask, only out of curiosity.

I think it can be good designwise to let go of associated colours sometimes to break the norm for that character. A wedding is a proper time for that, I felt.

Also, I wanted Miriel to wear a more traditional-looking wedding dress since she's normally more masculine, and I wanted her to accentuate her femininity for the wedding. That's also why I stuck with white for her, and why both wear dresses to their wedding.

Truth. You did a color change on the art with marriage proposal, and it worked great.

And yes, imagining their wedding, I definitely did not see Miriel in a dress, rather in a light colored suit. (Which, by mistake, was made one size smaller. So outside the photo, she could not wear her jacket freely and walked only in a light shirt that was tight, revealing her whole figure, and after energetic dancing began to shine through).

But I agree. Wedding is perhaps the only such girlish moment when Miriel can express her femininity as much as possible. It would be really wonderful if the Miriels wedding dress was not just classic, but even a little archaic, with a bridal veil, for example. It would have played well in contrast with the Yrdinas dress, which is more modern, short, comfortable and practical like what you can wear for a simple party.

The veil is a good idea, and Yrdina struggling to reach up to it and pull it back is cute as heck.

Strongfat Miriel can lift her after several unsuccessful tries. And in this pose they wiil finally kiss.

Bellies in wedding dresses are criminally underrated. They look cute!
