Generally, her whole strategy is distracting and jabbing sensitive spots and taking enemies out as quickly as possible, but she's vulnerable to brute force and more than one opponent. Otherwise, she avoids conflict with other coherent gems unless provoked.

Biography
Blood was created in the kindergarten in the early stages of gem kinds conquest of Earth. Due to complications, Bloodstone emerged early, and did not develop her Quartz warrior body and deemed defective. Before her superiors could decide what to do with her the rebels attacked the kindergarten, and Blood used the chaos to flee the scene. She hid in the kindergarten while the rebellion battled their Homeworld, and retreated into her gem to hide while the war raged on.

Thousands of years later, Bloodstone was awoken by the presence of gems nearby and came across Blue Sandstone. She was recruited into Blues team, the two beginning a romantic relationship and joining forces with Star Ruby, and Fluorite (tol fluo).

One day, Bloodstones opinion of Fluorite changed drastically when she overheard her spilling her sins to Blue Sandstone of her involvement in the Cluster project and the pain she'd caused. Shaken from the betrayal of such an intimate act as fusion and fear of her abilities, Blood turned resentful towards Fluorite, spitting hatred when provoked and judging her bitterly for her past actions.

Her prejudice had consequences, Blue Sandstone disappointed in her girlfriend's pettiness and confronted Bloodstone. Blood became flustered and refused to apologize or treat Fluorite better, lashing out at Blue and triggering a fight, causing them to break up.

To Bloods even further distaste her ex bonded with Fluorite, only furthering her resentment. However, Blue Sandstone disappeared one day on a solo mission, causing the bitter tension to snap and tear the team apart, and the three split ways with Bloodstone and Star Ruby sticking together and Fluorite going off on her own, hoping to find her missing lover.

To a bit before present day, Charoite and Apatite with a booster Fluorite crashed on Earth and took residence, soon meeting Star and Bloodstone and they formed a new team. Bloodstone managed to become good friends with Apatite, soon leading into a friends-with-benefits relationship between the two and becoming Apatites wing man to help woo Charoite. Eventually, the smaller Fluorite found the Fluorite from Bloodstone and Stars old team, bringing her back, oblivious of Tol Fluorites previous involvement with Bloodstone and Star Ruby. Bloodstone was predictably livid at the return of the other Fluorite, but the others let her join the team despite Bloods protests.

Currently, the team functions with the exemption of tension from Blood, soon starting drama between all members.
