ok so as i stated in the jason todd post, under the red hood made me re-evaluate my opinion on jason todd.

i stand by that i hate how he came back in comic world (thanks prime) and i hate his resurgence in grant morrison's new run (esp that suit and that damn skull symbol, ur not hte punisher) HOWEVER, i didn't fully appreciate the coolness of his original F the world plan till i saw a Bruce Timms take on it. im such a huge fan of his works that of COURSE that would show me the way. i loved it its the best one they've done (first flight was my previous favorite) and i really dug it.

but when i saw that NEW red hood costume, that had to go. uhhhhh no thank u. so i started sketching. basically i love deadpool, and pretty much thats how they went in the animated movie too (or at least i think so) so i figured a tweak on the biker / free runner look would be best.

wanted some more red, not red guns though that makes sense to draw attention to his weapon being such a hated tool by batman, like a big mushroom tattoo to the face. rub it in. but i thought maybe a grey under suit like batsie, instead of a cape, perhaps just a jacket either long or moto bike style and why not, instead of the skull (clicheeeeeeeeee) KEEP THE ROBIN R!! what a great F U to the batman! use robin's own symbol to inspire fear and promote death! i really feel its the only symbol for todd, not make him MORE joker like, but rather start moving away from that. jason todd wants to be not batman really, as we saw in battle of the cowel, he wanted to be teh best peroid, and now he's just GONE and hates dick and tim more that he hates bruce.

anyway i feel the biker look with some red mods and a grey base is the best bet for what i want, the middle is a template rough idea, the upper left and lower right are original pose and markers, the lower left shows the back of the jacket where i thought to put the logo, and the upper right is just a quick logo i dunno. seemed nice to put there hahah.

haven't QUITE iron out a final look but its getting there, somewhere between crow, deadpool and batman lies red hood that i want haha.

open to suggestions or mods.
