forA long overdue request! Sorry it took so long. I was working on a pic for 4 months before I decided I didn't like it, then scrapped it and did this instead... Maybe a little OTT on the blood? OTL
I also felt the title was fitting. Anyone who's ever played a fire emblem game will be well aquainted with the game over screen and the reset button
or maybe im just rubbish at FE games?

I love this beyond words. Roy just looks so helpless,so BROKEN. He looks like he's teetering on the brink of losing consciousness... I just want to scoop the poor kid up and hold him. I wish thre were more fanart like this.

This pretty much sums up how I felt Roy's character was, entirely from SSBM, having never played the games. Great style, love the red tones everything has.

i dunno like, vash from trigun fighting shiek.. or some less well known fire emblem characters. my imaginations no good.. u could just list some cool ideas. any character, any pose.

Good to see art from you! I really love the foldwork in the different fabrics- gives them texture and thickness depending on the fabric. A lot of people neglect to do that and end up making fabrics look plastic, so good job on that! Nice work on the lighting, too, especially since it's a darker scene. I also like how you've managed to add reflection in the gold despite how bloody and dirty Roy is. I'm liking the details (scratches, cuts, etc). Roy's face in particular came out very well. Nice work on his hair, too. It has depth, and I like that. His eye stands out VERY well, too. I always have an issue pulling that off with darker scenes, so kudos! Great work with the varying thickness of blood here and there, too. I really like this piece! :3

Aw it's comments like this that make the drawing worthwhile! I'm happy you took the time =3 Stoked you noticed the details. For the hair I made a custom brush that made it real easy to draw so it's great you think it looks ok. I think the fabrics thing was a little bit of a fluke to be honest ^^' I always spend less time highlighting the clothes (cos they're boring to cg..) so they look more matte than the interesting parts like the face/hair/eyes haha.

When I saw the title I thought "So this is why they took him out of Super Smash Bros". He was a well loved character.
Great work on the overall darkness of the picture. Looks like he got into a really dirty fight.
I like how you have him posed and the leaking of the blood. Nice job.
