This is a great drawing 
Aaron himself as a character based on what little I read about him does remind me a bit of one of my own characters, that being my coyote gal Linda's late uncle, whose name was Myron W. Stapp. He was also very laid-back and gentle-natured but was a little more silly in nature, a bit more like a more mature Bert in some ways if you will. He was a hippie in nature (I guess understandable since he was a 1960s/1970s character), a guitar player who was very imaginative and always loved to visit Linda as a child. But as I mentioned, sadly Linda lost him in a (real-life) plane crash over his native California when she was a little girl, a crash that killed both him and his wife. And it's had a pretty big affect on her as an adult as I said 
But back to a lighter note...Yeah, this is a nice sketch. And I must say, I really love how cute a job you do drawing the fur on characters. Makes me almost want to hug every one of them
