Finally, here’s the Celestia counter piece to Cuddle Moon! I actually posted two sketches for this about three weeks ago ( In the Sunshine and Rising Sunshine), sketched the outlines on watercolor paper soon after, and then had that sitting in my living room for weeks. Well, now it’s done!

I think the delay improved the result, because while the sketch was lying around I learned to do pen outlines and got a normal watercolor box in addition to my watercolor pencils. Adding highlights for light coming from the sun was a pretty spontaneous decision, though.
