I dunno, I thought the gun mettle update was pretty good. it encourages experimenting with other class and gives out cool looking new weapons.

Gun Mettle spy weapons in a nutshell
Enforcer: 20% more damage while disguised-straight downgrade to stock
Spycicle: 1 second of fire resistance, 7 seconds of afterburn resistance. Ammo kits now contain ice. Now shows in killfeed
Big earner: On stab-gotta go fast
Dead Ringer: This weapon is dead
Cloak and Dagger: ammo crates now contain batteries for this watch
Kunai: on backstab-get near 200HP. You now have a max hp of 70

i quit TF2, and i think this update supported my decision

oh thanks, but IMO this update is actually good they care about to rework rebalance nerfed buff most of OP and bad weapons, Just leave those art breaking gun alone
