The latest addition to my moth collection.

At first I didn't even think this thing is alive. I saw something black on a blade of grass and was curious as to what it was. I leaned closer and saw that that thing has wings and legs!
This pretty, fuzzy male belongs to the family of bagworms. They got their name because the caterpillars in this family build their casts out of plants, lichen, sand etc. Females of this species don't leave that cast and are wingless.
