Description
Blinded by me, you can't see a thing
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream

"You still persist like a thorn in my side, pest," it's voice comes through arrogantly.
"You cannot deny me. We are two halves, one cannot exist without the other no matter how distressed that makes you, Ira." It begins to tap its doll-like fingers together as if plotting his traveler's demise as its monologue continues. "What led you back to me? Pity? Desire? Perhaps you'll never be sure-- you never quite knew what you wanted anyways-- but me? I always knew what I wanted."
The visitor gazes up at the light now finally releasing Ira from it's scrutiny, flexing it's fingers into claws as it did so.
"To become a god means ridding yourself of transgressions and you, dearly beloved, are the last thing in my way."
Ira clenched his own claws into fists, an anger like no other bubbling beneath the surface. An anger that burned so brightly within him he could not hold back the tears that came with it. Something within him knew what this thing was alluding to but to put a name to it wasn't possible, especially not now with how blinded by wrath he'd become. The meekness and helplessness that'd embodied him moments before were torn away, his face contorted into a snarl.
"You won't take me, you can't. I'll tear you apart before you have the chance."
His visitor merely scoffs.
