this year sure was! Something! Wasn't a fan!

I'm ngl this past year has been a bitch and a half to a lot of us. I personally feel like 2021+2022 morphed into one long mega year for me ran me over with no remorse with all the shit they threw at me.

So I hope 2023 is a little kinder to all of us, I really do. I also hope this year I fall in love with drawing again, something I feel has been gutted from me for the past half a year.

Plans for this new year is just, be more experimental and just create with my art rather than make things that are "good", start animating again too, and just be more social again.

For the past two years I've been trying to pick up pieces of myself that shattered just after the turn of the decade from something that happened in my life, I think now it's time to pull the curtain aside and see what that version of myself looks like. I hope they've learned to let go and push on, that there's so much more beauty in the world to see no matter how small it may seem, that it's okay to take space. I hope I'll look back at this next year.

To everyone I've talked to or bonded with the past 2 years be it from wingstop and beyond, I hope you all sleep a little easier and that things look up. Even if we only talked a couple times or interacted in passing, or what ever the case was-- I hope everything turns up for you all. No matter the interaction, big or small, you've all lived in my head with nothing but well wishes surrounding you.
