Well here's a fun project i took up.

I'll be honest and say i've not really been as hyped for the new lombax as others have, honestly i don't quite understand loving her this much when we barely know anything about her. But, to each their own, i totally get being excited for a new character.

For me i always felt like the new girl was sorta... eh? in her design. Like she didn't feel like she fit in the games... like she was a little... oc-ish.

now now don't get me wrong i love ocs, but it sorta feels like, admittedly, her creator just went to deviantart for inspiration and came back with all the most popular trends. Goggles, hair tuft, scarf, earrings, tail....

None of these features are actually bad but altogether they feel like the quintessential traits of a fan character, at least to me.

So with that idea in mind i decided to see how i would've personally done her. Took some of my favorite traits of hers and tweaked them and took the parts i was eh about and either changed them or removed them completely. The tail thing is a little up in the air (is it a retcon? new species of lombax? lombaxes are different in her dimension? who knows) but for this i just decided to make it easier and went with "current canon for lombax females" and also changed her ears a bit too to reflect that. The coloration change came from an edit i made in which i recolored her a bit to much the "canon" color palette ideas for lombaxes. Based her off of Alister a bit.

I really now she probably is actually gray instead of like, blue or some shite lol, but i wanted to use my color palette anyway cause i thought it was cute :3

moved the goggles down to where her scarf would be and such, and there you have it, a design i'm actually really proud of and wouldn't mind drawing again!! i'm not trying to judge the new girl, i'm sure she'll be a good character, this was just for fun and i hope my watchers like it
