well, I never sent it because I didn't like the fact that, at that time (1 year ago) I sharpened the tree. It's ugly I think and very contrasting againt the lovely smooth background :/ but anyway, I like the composition.

I like the tree in its starkness and how it is placed in the picture so the eye can go towards the fields in the background. The tree and the clouds looks like they belong in a surreal, bleak, desolate picture. But the fields are a nice pastoral scene showing live going on farming in its normal phases. The telephone pole on the left distracts from this a little bit but overall the two contrasting themes work well together.

this looks great in black and white. it makes the picture so atmospheric. the gnarled tree looks perfect against the dark and cloudy sky. nice work

The colour one is better. Feels more alive. And the editing you did on the colour one is amazing again, so it gives a certain feeling.
