My Dear Brother, How U can say it is Shirk (naaouzu Billaah) in the life people ask eachother for some help is that Shirk also?
Dear Brother in the Heart it is Strongly believed, That Only Allah, can Help through different sources, So when We Shout or Say "Ya Ali Madad" or "Al Madad Ya Rasool'Allah", definitely it means that ultimately we are asking for Help from Allah Almighty, through some reliable source. on the other hand If you are aware of "Asma-ul-Hasana", there is one Name "Al-Ali'u" also.
Please Do not think any thing negatively !!

(البقرة)(o 165 o)(وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْدَادًا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ يَرَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إِذْ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعَذَابِ)
(Al-Baqarah)(o 165 o)(165. And of mankind are some who take -for worship- others besides Allâh as rivals -to Allâh-. They love them as they love Allâh. But those who believe, love Allâh more -than anything else-. If only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, that all power belongs to Allâh and that Allâh is Severe in punishment.)
