Description It's kinda ironic that it's taken me this long to draw a proper portrait of my token redhead, Cat, but it's probably a good thing. I had fun drawing her as is, and this is probably the closest I've come to drawing her how I've wanted to portray her in my world's lore. So yes! Beauty mark is a nice touch... very "classic film star".

Great work as always mate. I'm constantly in awe of how you use lighting to pick up the forms of your characters' faces. I struggle with skin-tone highlights and shadow.

And well... have you considered acquring a 3D model program? If anything, I've learnt a great deal about basic human anatomy and how light and shadow insinuate its features. So they can be a great teaching instrument in the right hands.

Every so often I have, but the times I've tried to use a computer of physical model my work always winds up looking ridgid and static. Blending's the biggest problem I have across faces, just can't get it to sit right.
