You're welcome. And my pleasure.

I like the Adeptus Sororita's, their art in special can be inspiring. Like this one. Did you stand model for it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aicasse In reply to Alpharius-Omegon [2013-05-03 22:55:42 +0000 UTC]

No no I didn't, I'm just the creator of the character. I supplied reference material and my descriptions of her but no modeling.
I like the Sororitas too, both of fluff reasons and 'cause it's nice to have some truly epic women to pick from.

Still, it's an awesome piece of art. One of the better Sisters I have seen so far.
And yea, fighter women who do kick ass. Hope they become plastics soon.

Aicasse In reply to Alpharius-Omegon [2013-05-05 16:25:42 +0000 UTC]

I play the pen-and-paper rpg's, both Fantasy 2 ed and Dark Heresy But I've eyed the fluff to the 40k too, I've thought about to start play that too but so far I'm more a rpg-girl then a tabletop-player.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Alpharius-Omegon In reply to Aicasse [2013-05-05 17:14:18 +0000 UTC]

I wish I coult play the RPGs some more, but no open parties near to me. I love the 40k setting more then the fantasy though, guess there is just to many good fantasy lore, but 40k is something in its own right.
Love the tabletop game, I should post some of my painting

Aicasse In reply to Alpharius-Omegon [2013-05-05 17:54:06 +0000 UTC]

The RPGs are really nice, I love the feeling of Dark Heresy. So grim dark it can get basically. And I can't really say no to fantasy I just love that epic feel in fantasy games. When you do it right anyhow, and I prefer the d100 system of Warhammer to d20 systems like D&D. Hope you find a good group to play with soon!

You should A lot of people do

Alpharius-Omegon In reply to Aicasse [2013-05-06 00:00:34 +0000 UTC]

I played dark heresy a few times. I liked it. I tried to put together an deathwatch party, but sadly I failed at it. It's indeed lovely grim and dark.
Fantasy in general I like, but then I fall more for the stories like eragon, white wolf, druss the legend and so.

Yeah, D100 is one, if not the, best type of systems to play RPGs.
if you like to see my painted models, keep an eye out I would say

I will Keep an eye out for your models that is.

Oh I'm so in love with both my Dark Heresy characters I've done so far. One priest ( a total bitch to the party and fabulous people skills with everybody else) and Ethina, this one. I'm looking forward for my GM's next Dark Heresy campaign. He has been talking about a truly puritan group (we were... beyond radical last time...) or a Deathwatch group, or (which sounds amazingly wicked) a chaos campaign

Alrighty then, I must say, IΒ΄m not always fast with uploading pictures, so it can take a wile before IΒ΄m able to upload then, specially since I still need to make them. so have patience with me?

I used to play a Scribe with a dark pact, a total non combatant, with a vampiric frenzy curse xd. every time he got hurt he went into a frenzy to the nearest enemy, lacking that friend, though that last didnt happen. still a wonder he did survive though.

I did try to go for a deathwatch campain, but mu organising skills at it are not good enough (might help that all the party memebrs had diverent times when they could go). in there i had plans for a Dark Angels apothecary, and to think 2 of the other members where of the sons of Russ

hmmm, chaos, i would like to play a dark eldar though.

Yes... yes I do have an evil streak. And a big problem with following codexes like a slave. I'm that player that almost always comes out playing some legally ambigous character

Hmmmm, hmmmmmm, let the inquisition not hear nothing of it.

One of the reasons I like the space wolves, they follow their own ways, same goes for the dark angels to a extent. Lot of room for individuality.
Or the Dark Eldar. They follow no one but their own whims (and well, they follow their Arcon as long as be he scary enough and to them there is Vect)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aicasse In reply to Alpharius-Omegon [2013-05-12 15:37:41 +0000 UTC]

Dark Eldar, not so fond of (more for the reason that I don't really have read up on them and so far they seem quite sterotypical), Space Wolfs me gusta

Alpharius-Omegon In reply to Aicasse [2013-05-17 08:36:46 +0000 UTC]

They have good fluf now. Stereotypical? A little bit only. Especially now after the latest codex.

Space Wolves, my first army ever, ond most likely my last. Unless I can properly build the XX legion that is.

Aicasse In reply to Mishai [2012-07-25 09:45:04 +0000 UTC]

Well the lack of ornamentation on the armour and such (if that was the kind of details you meant) is missing for a reason And yes the pic is great and he is an awesome artist :3

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mishai In reply to Aicasse [2012-07-25 11:19:17 +0000 UTC]

nope i not talk about ornamentation i talk about details...for 2kx3kpx its simple it not mean: "Simple it bad" , its just "it is simple"...to better understad what i mean...on example robe and face are great detailed...armor is just shape covered with simple brush and with added light/shade effect...looks good but got no details..its not about ornamentation its about those small things what are on objects...on example respirator around neck...that thing got parts, screws, line betwen parts...in picture is it just simple round grid...nice, but siple grid
thats nothing agaist picture, IT IS GREAT and i like it. i just tryin explain what i mean with "bit lack of details"...

check this two links, there is nicely show how you dont need lot ornamentaiton to achive HARDCORE lvl of details
[link]
[link]

but its not so important He did awesome work with light/shades and colors witch compensate lack of details with ease thumbs up.)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Aicasse In reply to Mishai [2012-07-25 11:29:48 +0000 UTC]

Ah those kinds of details, yeah I know what you mean ^_^ Was just a bit like "details.. details have so many meanings, what meaning of detail are we talking about because it could be a few".

I totally agree with you that you don't need ornamentation to achieve hardcore lvl of details, but as you said it's not that important because a lack of detail also brings a certain feel to a picture, at least according to me And the light/shades and colors are.. omg I can only dream to achieve his skill myself (especially since I don't draw a lot at all )
