Ryu Hayabusa... back in the NES days me and my cousins would play this game for hours on end. I recently downloaded it on my virtual console. You know why he was such a cool ninja? He didn't wear shoes! He traversed city streets, snow, rocky mountains and dank caves... with no shoes! I don't really like the new ninja gaiden games, but I will forever treasure the classic side-scrolling ninja action of Ninja Gaiden.Related content

Boy, that game is so difficult!! I hate when that damned bat hit me during the jump, making me fall in a hole and die. 
Still, I love Ninja Gaiden a lot!! The storytelling is so good. Can beat lots of "nowadays" movies.

For me, it was the hawks and the Jet pack ninjas that did me in. Sometimes, it was the occasional football player.

ya same here 80s side scrollers rocked. I also i enjoyed games like mike punch out, and mega man ohh and the old metal gear but that was kind of a door opener for the playstation metal gear series wich was totaly awesome. I also loved the old american animation in 85 on my fifth birthday i got a thundercats cake....them was the days.
