HAHA keep drawing until that hand breaks off~! I suggest you invest in a tablet, even a small Wacom Bamboo wouldn't be too bad. ;]
I'm very glad every day of my life that my father bought me my tablet 3-4 years ago. I sucked at drawing hardcore but by being able to learn how to draw on paper AND computer AT THE SAME TIME, it pushed my progress.

I have one. I found the CD for it a couple days ago..... I got to get that out of the car before it freezes...It's like 10 degrees outside o.o

LOL! OMG USE IT STUPID!
I recommend OpenCanvas or SAI.
Photoshop is stupidly overrated. It's great for colors but when it comes to simple freehand sketches and lineart, ITS HELL D:
HELL, MSPAINT IS BETTER THAN PHOTOSHOP.
Unless you CG. Then Photoshop is definitely a good one to use. :]
