I MOVED TO A NEW ACCOUNT!!!!: [link] My art has been improved on this account ^_~Hi's! This is a picture I drew about Courtney crying when Duncan and Gwen kissed in the bathroom. Yes I am now one of those people who draw Total Drama anime. It took a while for me to figure out how to use Gimp but I finally got it! Now by "Men will always break your heart" I don't want to offend men in any way! I just wanted to put a sentence there and I thought it was perfect! I effin hate Gwen since she agreed to stay with him. I wont really blame her for the kiss since Duncan and her kissed at the same time. Courtney doesnt deserve this so, i dont know why everyone is basically saying that. Well, Im not so sure if ur on team Courtney but I AM! GO TEAM COURTNEY!!! Gwen??? Can kick rocks for all i care.

Thing is,I hated Courtney for a while in TDA,but I got over it and liked her again in TDM.
I still don;t understand why the writers broke Gwen and Trent up(my TD OTP)and out Gwen with Duncan. That doesn't even kinda make sense!
I think they pit them together to please the DxG idiots fans.

I'm a TDI fan, just TDI fan, TDA was kinda messy, My fav couple is DuncanXCourtney and then GwenXTrent, I kind stopped watching the series after Gwen and Trent broke up D: it was sad, and stupid, the creators are messing up all characters D:
Then I started watching TDA again because of Izzy and Dunca+Courtney. I just watched TDWT first episode, and it was kinda boring. When I heard about DuncanXGwen kiss I say no way!!!

I felt so bad for Courtney. Duncan was so cruel to her but in the end the writers are really to blame.

I was never fond of Gwen as a character to begin with. People called her the the goth loner and that's what her profile bio describes her as (as each character has a 'title") but she really doesn't fit that role other than her outfit and one random comment about not being invited to parties. She acts like a typical girly-girl when you get down to it, not a goth. Come on people, she got all stuttery and blushing everytime she saw Trent, wrote in her diary that he was "sooo cute" and "Mchottie". Since when was that the behavior of someone who fit the Goth stereotype that she is trying to be type casted as for the show? And to top it off, she falls for Trents "musical talent when to be frank, his song writing was nothing to blow ones noes at. He's a wonderful guy but his songs were...how does one put it...ever see the episode of Family Guy where Brian and Stewie talk the typical college douchebag who hangs around with a guitar and sings about whatever pops into his head (ex: got a bottle from every beer i ever drank on the shelf above my bed) and the girls around him suddenly think he is so deep? Well that was how trent struck me, minus being a douchebag. He could play Guitar sure, but that didn't make him some profound musical muse for Gwen to get her panties in a twist over. Don't get me wrong, until her kiss with Duncan, she was a nice personality, but she just was interesting to me as a character, not worth going ga-ga for. People only wanted her and Duncan together because their clothes were similar and they said they watched alien movies. Other than that, what did they actually have in common?

Thank you. And this series made it pretty obvious that even the writers didn't really have that big an inkling for the DxG pairing, other than doing it for their fan base. In the previous seasons, Duncan talks in the confessionals about liking Courtney and her quirks, they flirt constantly, and kiss when ever he can get one out of her. He has a picture of her hidden under his pillow and even stated in the first season that her insanity in the finale was something he loved about her. However, with Gwen, the only references made of them in this season prior to their pairing up are from Gwen only (Duncan is only shown possibly having interest in her in his reaction during the opening theme song when he accidentally sinks her raft with the woven reed boat). And then here is the big kicker: after they got together there are to two episodes of them kissing and the flirting between them and then...nothing, really. (Unless I missed one aftermath episode) They sit together once or twice in the aftermath, sure, but they don't really interact because they are no longer apart of the main plot. To me that spells that the writers got them together in a hurry for the sole purpose of appeasing fan demand and once they were together, put no more effort into the structure of the character plot, unlike the effort they had put into DxC. But hey *shrug* that's just me. But thanks for agreeing with me. I loved your picture and it just made me want to babble aimlessly.

Basically, the show is going to die out after the 5th season. In my opinion there is way too much drama to keep hold of in TDWT that it just got boring. I loved DxC, but during TDA I sort of moved towards DxG because of a relationship I was in. But now that I think about it, the Good Girl/Bad Boy thing is a lot cuter than having people with the same interests and style get together.Besides, Duncan and Gwen aren't even the same stereotypes at all. He's Punk and She's gothic. Not the same. Anyways, The writers got lazy with a once loved fan couple that they screwed up with having Duncan get Gwen by cheating on Courtney. Last time I checked, this was a KID'S show, not Degrassi.

I might have actually liked the pairing of DxG if the writers had put them together in a nicer fashion. I feel like they made Courtney loose it and become so annoying near the end of the second season as an opening to destabilizing the relationship so that they could please fans and throw Gwen and Duncan together.
Also on the subject of season, the characters we know and love might have made their last appearance as Chris mentions in something about possibly getting a whole new cast for the next season. Is he joking? Only time will tell.

I do like Duncan and Gwen as a couple. *looks around nervously* Don't get me wrong, though, I hate how their relationship came about, with Gwen and Courtneys friendship gone, a complete personality change for all three characters, and the fact that Duncan cheated.
