ye I have a 50mm 1.8, it's prob my favorite lens to work with. although I really want a fixed 100mm as well, but a lass I do not have the funds yet.

ye a few times, when your looking at my work anything that says focal length 50mm, it was taken with my fixed lens.
I only ever use my 18 to 135mm lens for the two extremes so say I want a wide angel I will use it at 18mm but say the subject is far away I crank it up to the 135mm, everything else between I just use my fixed 50mm. I feel zoom lenses make you really lazy so I like to use the 50 because it forces me to move around the subject to find the best position and angle, plus it just makes anything look great!
