What I like is that the bulb is actually better technology. By ignoring it, they're closing themselves to something that has a lot of great potential and usefulness.

Haha brilliant! This could mean so many things- discrimantion against those who are smart/ how those who are different make history or improvements. Hence a lightbulb deviating from the common candle as an improvement but because it is different and unknown to the candles it is pushed to the fringe of society.

I love this whole series, but this one and the matches are special (but im not gonna talk about the matches because this isn't the comment section for that). This one is intense because theere is a leader to this racism, the one in front is clearly on a stand, and its burned wick is has a sort of grand plummage to it. Its different from the other ones because of the leader.
