She is quite the pretty girl, thanks! I have noticed that a lot of tortoiseshell cats have a tendency for short stubby tails, I wonder if it's a genetic thing.

Hmmm....it could be the breed too. Tortoiseshell/calicos are a color pattern, like palomino horses. We had a chocolate tortie Persian with a "monkey tail": long but it curled under so that it almost wrapped around her left hind leg when she walked. Weird. And our smoke tortie Persian Briar had a nice long tail. Tonelli (the Manx/Siamese mix) was a kind of a freak that way with the tail.

Her eyes are so bright green. It`s beautiful, and rare. Blue or gold would be expected in a calico.

How beautiful, I really like her coat colours, they are so pretty and what a lovely speckled nose. Her eyes are one of my favourite colours too.
