Ah nice shot, really love the highlights on the stairs and the fact the subject is walking into a lighted area, makes him really stand out. Where was this taken by the way, nice to see film

Thank you =] The only thing about this pic that kills me is the white scratch in the right middle edge that touches on the person walking. My shutter actually broke during this roll of film..but alas.

Really awesome piece here. This is probably one of my favs from your gallery. The tones are just right, with the balance of the black, whites and in between. Really sad meaning associated with it, but photography, along with any art, allows you to express your feelings, so I'm glad you did so. You explain it in such detail and it's ironic how he does walk into the light. This reinforces that irony of he's gone, yet he's gone to someone/something better. That bitter-sweet taste, ya know. Also, leaves the viewer in the dark which can be attributed with the photographer, you, at the same time. We feel your pain. Composition kicks butt and, most of all, the stars and hand rail are a major advantage in how they are used for support, used to make things easier (go up or down a buiilding), yet you just lost yours.
