I'm conscious. I'm conscious.I'll always be conscious.
I'm not just not sleeping but I'm so God damn conscious.
I can't close my eyes because my ears are alive
They cradle the sounds that sound just like light
I'm conscious. I'm conscious.
It's dark and I'm conscious.
Sensations are sounds that keep me awake
Gnawing my nerves to make me insane
Rattling feelings to wake up my brain
Hours of awareness that bring on the pain
I'm conscious. I'm CONSCIOUS.
Can't you tell that I'm CONSCIOUS?!
Hurting in places that don't have a name
Insomnia throbbing like night pounding rain
If I could close my eyes I'd be alright again
If I could close my head I'd lose all this pain
This consciousness always makes me insane

omg i feel this everyday of my life i never knew anyone else really actually FELT what and how i feel when the darkness taunts me to the degree of insanity and i feel like a lunatic for letting insomnia drive me to that point.. just go to sleep they tell me, like i dont want to..i desperatly need to..sleep just never comes...

I've had this problem for YEARS and it just gets worse and worse. EVERY sleeping pill that I take doesn't work and I'm at the point where I need to see a sleep specialist...

I've been an insomniac for years and every summer it gets worse. It feels like I've made the night day because I only fall asleep at midday - for one hour. This voices exactly how I feel.

I have somewhat of a mild insomnia problem, where I toss and turn in my bed for several hours then go to sleep at like, what, 3:30? And then I wake up after a few hours and get an hour of more sleep.
...I really HATE it.

I know how ya feel, dude. I hate insomnia but I can't help but stay awake. I'm sure I speak for every insomniac out there when I say that I LONG for sleep!

I totally get what you say, it's awful because sometimes I study a lot for a test I have the next day (something I usually NEVER do) and then I just can't sleep, and I'm tired but I just can't...
What's weird is that I understand most insomniacs are tired during the day right? I'm not...I'm really hyperactive and I have sugar & caffeine all the time and my sugar levels are too low for a normal person so.. I think I've been adopted from some aliens :/

I'm so energetic all day and night, too. Ususally I'll just be up with four or five hours of sleep, and that's all I get for about three days. It sucks, but honestly I wouldn't get anything done if I didn't have insomnia. 
But what's wierd for me is that I'll walk around the house doing nothing, and then stop in one place and stand there for almost 10 minutes sometimes. I don't do it on purpose. I'm just so tired I can't go to sleep-sometimes I can't even blink!

And I wouldn't get anything done either without insomnia, I do my homeworks, log on DA,FB,MSN etc., clean my room, play with my dog (she can't sleep until I fall asleep, I don't know why .__.), draw, write, etc.
I'm really hiperactive but caffeine doesn't make much difference on me unless I'm extremely tired, then a redbull can help

I've never had redbull before, but it sounds good.^^ One of my family's dogs sleeps on my bed, sometimes right next to me under the covers! He even puts his head on the pillow next to mine. It's really cute. XD He's always cold so he's probably thankful that he doesn't have to sleep in his own bed with no blankets.

It's so cold where I live that I have to have long pants and shirt and a sweater and three blankets! It's supposed to snow this week also. *shiver shiver* Where I live in my country, we have all four seasons. But that includes almost 10 feet of snow at times! And guess who has to shovel it...-_-'

hahaha sounds fun, at least not everything is sweaty and sticky, here it's so humid and hot that it's like a badass summer all year long, and did I mention how I love winter? 'cuz here there is no winter -.-" there is but it is almost as hot as summer, oh lord, if you knew how much I miss Argentina

I like playing my guitar, listening to music and drawing.
^^ I don't really watch TV, but I like to watch anime on my computer,and I like crime and mystery shows, too.

Next year I'll go to guitar lessons, I used to play (I only knew "stand by me" and another spanish song really easy to play too) but I started to get really low grades at school so I had to stop going to guitar lessons.

I don't know "stand by me" but it sounds like you could go pretty far with guitar if you keep it up! I mean, you already knew two songs. ^^
I've always tried to keep up my grades, and now I find myself really needing my guitar since this is now my 14th school that I have been to. Everytime I play it I can clear my mind. I've started taking lessons that are in the school building right after school, so that helps a lot. By the way, you're welcome for the english complement! Seriously, you're better than some of the people that actually live here... -_-' (like the majority of my language arts class)

Stand by me is really simple, it only has 3 "acordes" (don't know how to say it in english).

Oh, I always have to change schools for one reason or another. First it was because my parents were getting divorced, then because they got divorced, then because my dad wasn't happy about the divorce, then it was because my mom was tired of moving. So for all those reasons, I've moved 12 times and been to 14 schools. 
(By the way, ^^ It's actually "chords", but don't fret over it. Like I've said before, your English is fantastic!)

That's kind of sad :/ but at least you get to know a lot of different people and in a way or another when you get older it will help you to get used to things or different enviorments very quickly ,right? I tried to change school this year but destiny wants to keep me in my actual school because the test I had to give to get in was just sad xD

Mmm a typical food in bolivia is the "majadito" that is rice with dry meat and chopped vegetables...but the rice is yellow (eeewk) and religions are mostly catholic, christian and maybe jewish-.
we eat normal food xD nothing special really.

That's great! II wish I could do something like that one day, I love music and I'm trying to learn how to play the electric piano (don't knoe it's name in english but in spanish it's an "organo")this year and next year the guitar. Just the basics and then I'd practice by myself until I get good enough to do somehting with it.
