Description
I originally made this so that I could get myself an avatar for Steam; after having gone years without. The version you see here is the one I use as a spray.The design process was relatively straightforwards. I first had the idea of overlapping Luna's cutie mark over Twilight's. Then, upon realizing that the missing chunk of the moon didn't look right, I filled it with the first thing that came to mind.
I'm also at the point where I've looked at it for so long that I wouldn't notice obvious errors. So, if you see any, please message me.

but correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't twilight just whenever the sky is kinda in a halfway point? such as dawn or dusk?

Yes, though dawn and dusk are still in between day and night and there's still a connection to day and night either way. But since Twilight Sparkle's name has the word twilight in it, it's obvious that there is a connection between Celestia, Luna, and Twilight.
At any rate, this would still work for the royal symbol since Twilight will be made a princess soon.

Sweet! Turn it so the moon is hollow side up and you've got the royal seal of Equestria from the Altar of the Sun and Moon.

This is a really cool design, those marks actually make a very cool pattern when combined. I just like the theme of the three celestial objects as well, tying together the relationships between the three characters.

I think that the Luna mark it's not well centered. besides that, this is awesome

What I think might look nice is if you shrank the moon so that it sat more in the centre of the big star, and the points were kept all the way around.
