Description
Second design for a book cover. The book is "Nephilim" by Daevina Noctem . First one was fractal. And blue.
So... to get a feel for it I read a few more exerpts from the book and made this. Hee. :3Lemme know what you think?

I think this a great book cover idea - love the colours and the feel of the entire image.
The only thing I'd give thought about is the top portion of the layout. Usually on a standard book cover format the author's name and sometimes title of the book would be placed there, thus, covering the top half of the female character you've placed there... also perhaps the stunning wing you've incorporated. Would that deteriorate the resolve of the image? maybe or maybe not? or how could you shift the dynamics of the typography to suit your design?

The one used for the actual cover has the author's name at the bottom and the title towards the top.

Hmmm... usually I am hesitant to comment on such things as I like to see how humans interpret the past they remember, but upon second observation, you did quite well, especially with the symbolism. Wings are key.
