Description This is my first attempt at going out to get a specific shot, I had an idea in mind and these are the results. I took about 50 shots and they were all looking terrible. Luckily the last 10 or so had that look I wanted and I am pleased with the results! Let me know what you think!

This shot: Originally shot in color then de-saturated, I also played with the levels to get a more black to white contrast.

The detail here is immaculate. The dirtiness is so appropriate and gritty. I would prefer it to be a female hand, as that would make it more real. Just seems that women are more likely to die such an untimely and brutal death as this one appears to be. Ruts or grooves in the mud right below the hand may give more feel of a struggle. Just some thoughts from another mind....

I really want to do this idea on a larger scale with a female model, I am so inspired by some deviants on here, I want to do an entire series like this, BW foresincs shots etc (cant spell it) I wanna make a crime seen them photograph it, weapon, scratches, blood stains, etc, then build a site to host say all 30 images.

thank you, i also really pushed with levels making it darker n whiter, Its amazing how photoshop can really do wonders for a photo!

hey, thats really simple but detailed and it works well. I like the fact thats its an odd shaped thumb and fingernail-(no offence) i think it makes it look better because of the shape. Def looks like its from a crime scene!! *much <3*
