So, finally, this is how my Mancubus ended up looking like.I've been working on and off on this piece for a long time now.
The character was done first and then I kind of got stuck with the background - reworking it several times. Eventually I got sick of it and here it is.
The style is different this time around with the bold outlines, making it look more cartoonish than I originally wanted, but whatever.

Mega Man really let himself go. I like the illustration and don't want you to take that the wrong way, but the arm canons remind me of the mega buster. I do like his shoulder mounted exhaust piece though, since once again, that's something that adds a lot of movement to the design. The chest piece is nice too, although it might look a little nastier if you embedded in into his skin, as opposed to having it worn like cybernetic armor. The perspective is nice too, since mean creatures always look meaner when you're force to look up at them.

Haha! I never actually noticed the resemblence but now that you mention it - they do look like the megabuster.
I did think about embedding the chest piece into the skin at first but I don't remember why I chose not to. Wierd.
Oh well. I'll keep making D00M fan art untill I'm happy with all of them. Thanks again.
