I based the colors and armor Azula is wearing from *SkyWarrior108 /*JewelOfSong 's drawing Best Friends in Exile
The background is a screencap of Episode 1.01 - The Boy in the Iceberg. The setting in this drawing takes place in chapter three of What It Is To Burn, when Azula is about to fight Katara and Sokka.

Ozai didn't really love Azula either, all he cared about was her firebending prowess and her loyalty. That's why she lost her mind in the end.

The clothing, hair and skin look good. My criticism's would be that the hands are too small and her head looks too thick. From this angle her bangs would cover her ear unless you make her head pointing further to the right... I don't mean to sound like a bitch, It's good, shading and painting is definately a strong point... just work on the trivial things and it could be great xxx

Well, 100 years ago, the war went another way: the FN attacked, but the Air Nomads have been able to strike back, and now the FN is on the defensive. Aang is still the Avatar, but so far was not part of the story.
Azula is the "Last Firebender", rogue Adm. Zhao hunting her and helping the Air Nomads, and Azula is on her way together with Sokka and Katara...
That was the short version, since I don't want to spoil you in case you want to read it. Sadly, it has no yuri...

His idea about losing readers. I think he'll gain a few more. I mean from what I read so far there is an Azutara tension building up because they're still on the stages of getting to know each other and once they start trusting each other more Azula and Katara could start liking liking each other.
