When I posted Aden, I realized with horror that I forgot to make one for Aya, the trickster spirit of a dead cat who first appears in chapter 3 (so, yes, her robes are backwards on purpose).

She has always been a part of the story in some way, she's even older than Tala in concept. Kald used to be a home of a cat-like people that the main two would be invited into. But that ended up conflicting with the world building (why would they be invited in? I couldn't answer that), so it was largely scrapped, despite my attachment to the storyline. But I transformed that plot line into Sylhsari (which isn't published yet).

As a trivia, she's not from the same country Jia grew up in. When she was a kitten, she hopped on a boat because it was crawling with rats and ended up in the peninsula.
