Nicely done. Giving life to classic weapon of old a giving a futuristic twist to it. Well done

It's interesting to see people's creativity but honestly I get tired of all the super-busy designs a lot of people come up with. Β It gets exhausting tracking all the details they try to cram into their designs. Β This is a nice pause for me, yeah it's really simple but honestly, more often than not, I'd say less is more. Β Nice job.

Really good job, but that's not a katana, at least a japanese katana, they are a little bit more curved in order to deflect their attacks and to be able to be very fast when the person attacks with it. But it looks just great, its just more of a ninja sword instead of a samurai one.

As I had stated in another comment, the blade was originally curved but it just looked silly. So I straightened it out. Technically the sword would be classified as a chokuto, but the average person isn't going to know that. So you're right, it's not a katana, but it's a lot easier to just label it so.

This looks epic... much better as a straight blade rather than a katana...

what material did you envision the blade to e made of?

Not bad but for a true katana shape you need to curve the blade....

Thanks for the input,
It was initially curved but after I changed it to be 'sci-fi' it just looked weird.
So I straightened it out and it looked better.
