Uuuuhhh, what you mean by that? The fact that SpongeBob’s creator started out on Rocko? Both shows how similarities? Or you actually think that both characters are related?
Plus, the picture’s already drawn. I just can’t add more characters willy nilly.

You should've made this picture of Rocko greeting leo, since leo's a wombat and Rocko's a wallaby. I'm a sucker for animated marsupials!

....I don't know who that character is. Is he also created by Joe Murray? Because I feel like you kinda missed the point of this drawing...

Once, I wrote a letter to Joe Murray. In it, I relayed his hand in ending the respective runs of Rocko’s Modern Life and Camp Lazlo—both involving his two wives and his blaming his creations for both marriages crumbling—and then offered a theory about the reason for his continued contributions to the field of animation even after that: even if cartoons proved to be his one and only calling, despite what that implies, it ultimately gave positive benefits to society and nonetheless left a huge impression on many young viewers. And even if his cartoons weren’t the most popular or successful, he did allow many of his up-and-coming colleagues the leeway necessary for their own success; he got their feet in the door, that is.
Case in point: the Camp Lazlo episode “Hello Summer, Goodbye Camp” features parallels to a turning point in Murray’s career following the dissolution of his second marriage: Camp Kidney represents Murray’s cartoons and animation studio, with it’s freewheeling approach to production and quality, which hasn’t necessarily proven brilliant. The camp’s shutdown represents said studio’s unavoidable shortcomings, problems, but good intentions being called into question. Lazlo, Raj and Clam (plus Patsy)’s optimism and determination to appeal represents the loyal fan community Murray’s efforts gained who value his hand in shaping their childhoods as well as the core themes they may have sensed in them, as well as Murray’s co-workers who are grateful for the experience they shared working together. Edward and most of the rest of the bean scouts insisting Kidney has run it’s course and is dirty and run-down to begin with and so is not worth saving represents the many detractors and concerned parental figures who saw these cartoons as mindless trash that was causing more harm than help to quality TV. Steve, the bean of Leaky Lake, represents the diehard fans who dedicate their lives to analyzing the inner mechanics of cartoons and understand what made these cartoons truly great and know how to pull strings in order to reassert their value or keep them going for whatever reason. The Big Bean represents creator Joe Muarry, past his prime and embittered by the business he’s married to, more than willing to shut down what he helped create and start over on account of the inherent flaws of the work and how it influences people for the worst, or just plain ashamed of his field of work and it’s problems. And finally, the poem on the hand-me-down neckerchief that inspired Lazlo to be the best bean scout he could be in the first place which turns out to have been written by the Big Bean as a bean scout himself represents the inner spirit and core values that enforced Murray to become a cartoonist in the first place, and the reason he would admit even then he couldn’t give up his career, and how he is grateful to have been the inspiration to so many for years to come.
Murray wrote back, only saying that my letter was “well thought out and heartfelt” and thanking me for the thought. As such, I can only think I was probably only reaffirming what he already knows.

Me too! Hopefully it's on the same tier as Arthur & The Magic School Bus!
Probably not. However, there IS a similarity to another anthropomorphic Moon with the name "Luna" [from Bear in the Big Blue House]

I'm just hoping Luna Around the World is on the same tier as Arthur & The Magic School Bus, abiding to PBS' education fetish while being quite entertaining at the same time.
Did you know that Hey Arnold creator Craig Bartlett also created a couple of PBS cartoons? He sure did, those being Dinosaur Train & Ready Jet Go.
Also, revivals of Barney & Friends and Angelina Ballerina were due for last year, but no new info has been provided on either since, so they've either been delayed to this year (to coincide with the 30th & 35th anniversaries of their respective franchises) or cancelled entirely.

This. Show. Better. Not. Suck!
I swear, if this show ends up like Dora or Paw Patrol, I will lose hope for Joe Murray.
I doubt it's going to suck anyway because we had camp lazlo on cartoon network and it's more childish than rocko, but can be inappropriate at times.

Not sure if you've heard about this, but Luna Around the World isn't the only cartoon PBS is getting this year.
Another cartoon, Pinkalicious & Peterrific, is coming to PBS starting next month.
In fact, there's preview episodes on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=EA60GW… & www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFqM1K…
I've seen them both, and judging by them, the show is pretty decent. It doesn't shove morals down your throat, the animation is par for the course, and it stays true to the Pinkalicious books it was based on.

Oh! Well....I'm pretty sure since they've voiced in Joe Murray's shows. If you mean that they'd be involved in Luna Around The World or a crossover of both (Which seems unlikely for the latter) then....I dunno. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Doug Lawrence, Carlos *forgot his last name at the moment*, and Tom Kenny. Voice actors who all appeared in both of Joe Murray's previous shows in prominent roles.

I learned that the only major voice confirmed for Luna Around the World so far is Judy Greer (Jurassic World and Planet of the Apes reboot series), who will voice Luna.
That being said, if Tom Kenny, Doug Lawrence, and Carlos Alazraqui do get voice roles, and if Luna Around the World is on the same tier as Arthur, then it could be the best cartoon for PBS in nearly a decade.
Other characters from the series are an Australian Wombat named Leo, a Mexican Butterfly named Carmen, and a Contiguous American Frog named Andy, the latter of which will be voiced by child actor Jaiden Cannatelli, which will probably also be the case for the former two. This is going to be on PBS Kids, after all.
However, there's also going to be an Alaskan Killer Whale named Boco, a Brazilian Tapir named Vincent, and a Chinese Panda named Patrick. There's a chance Tom Kenny, Doug Lawrence, and Carlos Alazraqui could voice those guys. A slim chance, but a chance nevertheless.
