Amazing pattern and close up, it reminds me of a beehive cut in half.

Interesting.. reminds me of honey combs and stuff, even though.. I don't know. It also looks like the stuff inside cardboard and whatnot, but that could just be me.
The monotone really accentuates the variety of shades and the depth overall. I think it's fantastic how you've caught this at an angle, almost. The square format is quite fitting and I like the lighting as well...
The abstractness is pretty potent here.
